We are both very proud and grateful to present the concert Classic meets Fetish once a year at the Zwölf-Apostel-Kirche in Schöneberg for Folsom Berlin since 2016.
Just a 5-minute walk from the Nollendorfplatz subway station and Berlin's gay district.
Built between 1871 and 1874 based on initial designs by Friedrich August Stüler, this church is not only supported by a vibrant congregation but also actively supports its community through outreach to the homeless and street ministry. Located just a stone’s throw from the red-light district on Kurfürstenstraße, the parish regularly distributes condoms to drug addicts and sex workers, among other things.
On the evening of the concert, you’re sure to notice the windows, which are now listed as historic landmarks.
During World War II, in 1943, the church was severely damaged by numerous air raids. Immediately after the war ended in 1945, the congregation began repairing the war damage.
The family of the Gilka spirits company, who lived in the community, donated several thousand empty gin bottles, which made it possible to seal all the window openings and allowed people to attend church services again.
The “schnapps bottle windows” can still be seen in the gallery windows of the side aisles and in a few other places. One of them has recently undergone extensive restoration.
The organ at the Church of the Twelve Apostles was installed in 1968 by the Berlin-based organ-building workshop Karl Schuke, which incorporated elements of the French Romantic organ-building tradition.
It underwent a complete overhaul between 1991 and 1993 and was expanded to include a register and a typesetting system.

We are all looking forward to welcoming you to this consecrated church on the evening of September 10, 2026. We therefore ask our esteemed concert guests to dress respectfully, even if they are wearing fetish attire.
We would like to make it clear: This concert is a cultural benefit event, not a sex party!
